1-2-1 Makeup Lesson Approach
One of my visions is to pass my knowledge on. You will receive EXPERT ADVICE on how to apply makeup.
For all ages and skin tones. From teenagers excited to discover the mysteries of makeup and the latest looks to my 40+ sessions that introduce anti-aging techniques to achieve a natural, radiant and youthful look.
The application of makeup is a skill that women are expected to possess and yet one where few have had any formal training. We are often reliant on a process of learning through trial and error. This can be an expensive path in a world where products are marketed on the basis of brand, not their suitability to different skin types.
I will teach you how to enhance your face shape and features, with simple application techniques, using the correct products and colours that are complimentary for you as an individual.
Lesson Description
Each lesson is tailored to the experience and aspiration of the individual. Makeup lessons takes place in your own home or venue of choice and include:
- Listening to your personal experience with makeup and understanding what you, as an individual, want to achieve from the lesson.
- Organising your makeup bag. Giving it the ‘Feng Shui’ treatment to remove the clutter of unwanted products, whilst making the most of the investment you’ve already made.
- A conversation on skincare to ensure your skin stays looking great even without makeup.
- Step-by-step tuition using the half face method where I demonstrate each step on one side of the face and you repeat and practise the same step on the other side of the face.
- Answering all your makeup related questions and sharing my tips and tricks for a long lasting makeup application.
- Creating a 10 minute makeover to leave you looking great without taking over your mornings.

She then discussed my skin tone (quite different from what I had thought!)
The make-up session - with her showing me how to apply make-up on one side of my face, and me attempting to match the other side - was a revelation. She gave me so many ideas about colours, techniques and products, and I felt that along with new skills, she had helped me to enjoy make-up again.
