Bridal Makeup

Firstly congratulations! I consider it a privilege to be invited to spend the morning with a bride and her party. A Professional Makeup Artist has become an essential part of the modern brides' entourage. Having the right Makeup Artist using skilled techniques and innovative products plays an important role in creating beautiful photographs that you will treasure forever.

I understand how important it is for you to look your absolute best on your big day and I want to make sure you have a friendly and relaxed experience with as little stress as possible.

On your wedding day I will arrive at the agreed time and location and carry out the required services. My bridal service includes travelling to your home or hotel and re-creating your chosen look from the trial. All you have to do is sit back and relax. The makeup application takes approximately 1 hour, during which you can enjoy some moments of calm.

If you are getting married abroad or where a makeup artist will not be readily available, I can teach you how to apply your own wedding makeup. View my makeup lessons page.

It’s YOUR special day, so be 100% confident that I will make you feel pampered and special and look flawless and beautiful on your wedding day.

Getting it RIGHT for your wedding day...

Booking a wedding makeup trial falls in the 'Top 5 Important Things to do' list, and in the madness of planning everything else, this is the one thing brides typically tend to overlook. So the earlier you can book the better.

I will come to your home or venue of choice to do your make-up trial. A trial is recommended 2 to 6 months before the wedding day. By the time the day of your make-up trial arrives, you would usually have an image in your head of how you want to look. It's a good idea to have collected magazines or pictures as a visual starting point. I will match the right foundation and shade to your skin, find which lashes (if any) works best for you, and you can then see how the makeup will last throughout the day. (after the trial)

The trial usually takes between 1 ½ to 3 hours, and I will always do my best to arrange your trial to suit your circumstances. It's preferable to have the trial done during daylight hours, so that you can clearly see the make-up and know how it will look to your guests on your wedding day. Make-up that has been done in daylight will look good in any light and most importantly, on your photographs. Everything discussed and the products chosen during the trial will be documented, and photographs will be taken for visual reference. I will also email you the photographs so you can see your completed makeup. You can then take comfort that the finished look will be re-created on the day.

The trial is a great opportunity for us to become acquainted and for you to ask any questions you might have. Perhaps it would be the perfect opportunity for your mum or bridesmaids, to meet and build a relationship with me in a relaxed and comfortable environment, preparing for the most exciting day of your life! Why not extend the service to bridesmaids, mother of the bride and flower girls... The main aim of the trial is that you are entirely, happy with your finished look. So relax and let me take care of making you look your best.
